At Central Station you can take city bus nr. 34 or 35 which takes you to Amsterdam North in two stops.  You can find the buses upstairs on the riverside (the back side) of CS.

  • You cross the street in front of a little church. Take a right behind the church and you’ll be at Papaverweg.
  • Keep walking on the left side of the street. Follow the road on this side, while the road bends to the left at the junction. Here you really enter the industrial area with some nice ugly looking and some great looking places, like the Mercedes garage on your right hand. Walk straight on for a 100 meters till you see some open water on your left hand.

For the Industrial Warehouse:
Pass the water, and keep walking along the water when you take a left. That’s the Kropaarstraat. Just walk towards nr. 10 on the corner, that’s your building!

For the Big Warehouse:
Pass the water, keep walking straight on, following Papaverweg. But: take the sidewalk near the warehouses. It’s the small parallel road where cars are parked. Take the first road to your left and enter the area of warehouses. After 10 meters turn right. A few meters further on the right side you see the tree and the large windows of the Big Warehouse.

At Central Station take city bus 32 (direction Buikslotermeerplein). (The buses are upstairs at the back side/ river side of Central Station) Get out at the stop called Wervershoofstraat (see timetable buses).

  • Walk straight ahead for 50 meters. Pass the little church and take the first street on your right. Walk upwards, the road goes up a bit at the end. When you are up the ‘Nieuwendammerdijk’ turn left.
  • After 30 meters, you’ll see a little blue gate on your right hand. That’s the entrance of the harbour ‘Nauticadam’.
  • Walk down and you’ll see a blue/white shower house.

The Cosy classic Houseboat
(called Res Nova) is next to the shower house, box 19.

For the Historical Houseboat (Deo Volente): continue walking behind the shower house. You can see a white crane to hoist boats out of the water. Follow the pathway on your right hand. Pass the black wooden Harbour Office on your left. Walk along the grass until you reach the boats there. The Historical Houseboat is the red ship, the third one in the row.
